Finding Products and Information in PILOT

The backbone of PILOT is a hierarchical system for classifying products and services.

  • The system has 10 Divisions, each of which is then divided into Sub-divisions and Categories.
  • In all, ProBoatPILOT.com has more than 800 different topic-pages.
  • The system may be readily adapted for your own-inhouse purchasing and specifying programs. Contact proboatpilot@gmail.com for more info.

To find products and information in PILOT, try any of these methods:

  • Follow the ClassificationSystem links to browse individual topic pages.
    • When a vendor has added a comment or attachment to topic, you'll see an icon at the top of the page.  Click on that for more info, or scroll down.
  • Enter a word or phrase in the search box at the top of any page
  • Check out the index.

What makes PILOT special? As PILOT grows, our vendors will add comments, links, and attachments to appropriate pages in the classification system to provide end-users with the maximum information that they seek. Users may also leave comments and feedback on any of the topic or vendor pages.
