Welcome to the ProBoat PILOT Wiki
PILOT stands for Products & Information LOcator
Tools, and our new ProBoat PILOT is comprised of editable “wiki” pages to provide vendors and end-users with an interactive website in which they can share information with each other.ProBoat PILOT consists of two key elements:
The first is a uniform classification system that Professional BoatBuilder magazine developed to help designers, specifiers, and purchasing agents keep track of products and services.
The second element of the system is the vendor database, which we are now starting to populate. Participation is offered at no charge to qualified vendors, including marine-industry manufacturers, suppliers, and consultants.
Because ProBoat PILOT is a wiki, you can create a very detailed PILOT page for your company. You can also leave comments and make attachments within the classification system to direct end-users to your PILOT page or to your company’s website.
